The Oklahoma City Philharmonic Associate Board is accepting applications for the 2018-2019 season.
Music is at the center of everything we do at the OKC Phil. “Providing joy and inspiration through orchestral music” is our mission. We Orchestrate Passion!
As a “friend building” organization, the Associate Board Member's primary goal is to host and facilitate the Overture program which seeks to build an inclusive, diverse group of young professionals who enjoy attending both the curated three concert package offered at affordable rates each season, and the social gatherings surrounding the concerts.
Associate Board duties center on social and party planning, hosting and facilitating the social events, with the support of members of the Philharmonic staff. Deadline is extended to August 15.
Other opportunities to volunteer with the group include The Festival of the Arts food booth, Orchestra League Instrument Playground which deploys across the city for various community outreach events throughout the year, and the chance to volunteer for the annual Maestro’s Ball.
