We’re passionate about music education and welcome the opportunity to expose kids to different musical styles and help create lifelong lovers of music.

Instrument Playground

The Oklahoma City Philharmonic’s Instrument Playground offers children the chance to try out a selection of orchestral instruments at 1:00 p.m. before every concert of the Discovery Family Series. Trained docents show children how to manipulate trombones, trumpets, flutes, violins, a cello, and percussion instruments of all types. Admission to the Instrument Playground is free with each ticket to a Discovery Family Series concert.

The Playground is available for presentation at a variety of community children’s events. If you are interested in scheduling the Instrument Playground for your next event, please click the button below to fill out the request form or email taylor@okcphil.org with any questions.
