Oklahoma City – The Oklahoma City Philharmonic is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated 2025–2026 concert season, featuring an extraordinary array of music across its Classics series and The Chickasaw Nation Pops series. The season opens with a powerful program – Legends: Ortiz, Rachmaninoff, Janacek, Tchaikovsky on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 7:30 p.m., with internationally acclaimed pianist Natasha Paremski taking center stage at the Civic Center Music Hall.

Classics Series Highlights

This season’s Classics series blends iconic masterworks with contemporary themes and rising stars. Highlights include:

Oklahoma Stories: Celebrating Our Future with pianist Yihan Zhang, composer and cellist Kiegan Ryan, and the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra, October 25, 2025, 7:30 p.m.
Joel Levine Conducts Tchaikovsky featuring beloved former Music Director Joel Levine and the New York Philharmonic’s principal cellist Carter Brey, November 15, 2025, 7:30 p.m.
Mozart’s Rivals: Race to the Top with violinist Hannah White and Canterbury Voices, January 10, 2026, 7:30 p.m.
The Fire of Love: Romeo and Juliet with violinist Nurit Bar-Josef, February 14, 2026, 7:30 p.m.
Masters of Music: Italy featuring Verdi’s The Force of Destiny Overture and Respighi’s Feste Romane, March 14, 2026, 7:30 p.m.
Brahms & Bronfman with piano legend Yefim Bronfman, April 4, 2026, 7:30 p.m.
• Season Finale: Mahler’s Resurrection Symphony with Valerie Bernhardt (soprano), Megan Esther Grey (contralto), and Canterbury Voices, May 2, 2026, 7:30 p.m.

The Chickasaw Nation Pops Series

The Pops series offers spectacular crossover entertainment and family-friendly favorites:

  • Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony Join Dolly as she appears on screen to share her songs, her life and her stories, November 7 & 8, 2025, 7:30 p.m.
  • A Very Merry Pops The OKC holiday tradition returns with festive flair, December 5 & 6, 2025, 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, December 6, family-focused matinee at 2:00 p.m.
  • Tango Caliente! A night of fiery dance with Argentinian tango stars, January 30 & 31, 2026, 7:30 p.m.
  • Classical Mystery Tour Enjoy a Beatles tribute like you’ve never heard before, February 27 & 28, 2026, 7:30 p.m.
  • Symphonicon: Music from Comics, Sci-Fi & Video Games Immerse yourself into a universe of thrilling scores from all your fictional favorites, March 27 & 28, 2026, 7:30 p.m.
  • Disney in Concert: Once Upon A Time Enjoy favorites from Encanto, Frozen, Moana, and more, with live orchestra and film, April 17 & 18, 2026, 7:30 p.m.

Special Event:

  • Jurassic Park in Concert Experience the iconic film live with full orchestra over Thanksgiving weekend, November 29, 2025, 2 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.
