We love music, and we love helping students learn and explore the beauty of music, too. The OKCPHIL offers a variety of educational opportunities, including in-class programs and orchestral concerts. Youth Concerts

3rd – 5th Grades & Middle School Beginning Band/Orchestra

Civic Center Music Hall

ALL ATTENDEES WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES IN THE CIVIC CENTER. Social distance will be provided between school seating blocks.

The full OKCPHIL Orchestra on the Civic Center Music Hall stage, conducted by Matthew Troy. This 45-minute concert showcases the sights and sounds of the symphony orchestra and highlights each instrument within its musical family. In-School Ensemble Performance

3rd Grade

A small ensemble of OKCPHIL musicians visit your school to perform! Currently designed for 3rd graders, these interactive performances last just under an hour and can be modified to fit your schedule. Ensemble options range from string quartets to wind and mixed ensembles, and programming varies from ensemble to ensemble. Typical themes include explanations of instruments played, juxtaposition of musical genres, tempos, dynamics, form, etc. Performances are provided to schools in the greater OKC Metro Area upon availability and on a first-come-first-serve basis.
