Masterclasses with Guest Artists

Select music majors from local universities perform and receive coaching sessions from OKCPHIL guest artists before a public audience. Masterclasses are presented free of charge and are open to the public. Professors, private studio instructors, and high school teachers should join the OKCPHIL Educator’s Club to receive announcements regarding masterclasses.

Anastasiya Petryshak, violin

Anastasiya Petryshak is one of the most acclaimed violinist of her generation. Born in Ukraine in 1994 and raised in Italy, she currently lives in Switzerland. She studied with Maestro Salvatore Accardo, who became her mentor, at the “Walter Stauffer” Academy in Cremona for eight years. She graduated from the Zürich University of Arts with Maestro Rudolf Koelman. Today, Anastasiya Petryshak performs internationally with world-class orchestras and conductors. She collaborates with Andrea Bocelli since 2010 and regularly plays an extensive repertoire with the pianist Lorenzo Meo. She acquired an immense experience playing historical instruments, among which Paganini’s violin “Il Cannone” and the Stradivari “Il Cremonese”. Anastasiya Petryshak records for Sony. anastasiyapetryshak.com

Rehearsal Observation

Requests to attend an OKCPHIL Orchestra Rehearsal for Classics Concerts can be emailed to Education@okcphil.org, preferably by a week prior to the desired rehearsal. Rehearsals are typically held 7:30-10:00 pm at the Civic Center Music Hall in the weeknights leading up to the concert.

Student Tickets

Students with a valid high school or college ID may purchase up to two $11 Student Tickets for each OKCPHIL concert! Student Rush tickets can be purchased in person at the Box Office on the evening of the performance, beginning 1 hour to curtain. Student tickets can also be purchased online beginning the Wednesday before the concert. Best available seating is provided for Student Tickets. Seat locations are at the discretion of management. Student ID required for both in-person, and online tickets.

Group Concert Tickets

The OKCPHIL offers special deals on group tickets for schools and educational organizations, subject to availability. Email tickets@okcphil.org for more information.

OKCPHIL Education Internships

Education Interns are heavily involved with numerous Education programs offered by the OKC Philharmonic. Interns also receive additional exposure to concert production, administration, development, and marketing. Internships are paid OR can be used for college credit (if agreed upon by your educational institution). Click below for more information.
