“The OKCPHIL brings cinematic suspense and Broadway vocals to Civic Center Music Hall on October 30 and 31.”

OKLAHOMA CITY — Looking for a Halloween weekend plan with a little mystery and a lot of music? The Oklahoma City Philharmonic invites audiences to Music to Die For: Songs From the Shadows on Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at Civic Center Music Hall.

Led by conductor David Andrews Rogers, the concert pairs the sound of a live orchestra with cinematic suspense and showstopping Broadway vocals. Singers Kathy Voytko, John Cudia, Danielle L. Herrington and Ashley J. Mandanas join OKCPHIL for an evening inspired by the drama and intrigue of Halloween.

Whether guests make the concert a centerpiece of their Halloween night or start an evening out downtown with dinner and live music, Music to Die For offers a chance to celebrate the weekend together. Expect an atmosphere of haunting elegance, powerful voices, and music that builds suspense.

“We’re excited to offer an alternative to trick-or-treating and still give our audience a chance to dress up,” said Brent Hart, Executive Director of the OKCPHIL. “With David Andrews Rogers leading the orchestra, Music to Die For: Songs From the Shadows will give audiences an evening of live musical “treats” along with a few dramatic “tricks” and maybe a few surprises. Come celebrate the spooky season with us.”
