NOTES FROM THE MAESTRO

“We will finish our season with an opera. Tosca. I was researching for a while. Which opera should we do? There are so many. And, should we do an opera? After all, we are a symphony orchestra. But at the end it’s about music. Powerful music. We will have internationally recognized singer Jennifer Rowley in the title role, and from New York City’s Metropolitan Opera we will have Alan Held and Stephen Costello. And we will have our full orchestra, costumes, semi-staging, all giving life to this dramatic score.”
