Gaye LeBlanc – has been the principal harpist of the OKC Philharmonic since 1996 and also Harp Instructor at the University of Oklahoma since 1998. A native of Dallas, Texas, Gaye started harp in college at the age of 20 after many years of piano, and received her BM in harp performance at the University of North Texas and Masters of Music at Southern Methodist University.

She has played in numerous orchestras in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Arizona. A tireless teacher, Ms. LeBlanc enjoys working with her harp students and her “Understanding Music” classes at OU. In her spare time she enjoys relaxing and watching movies with her friends and her pups Luke and Ellie. She loves fishing and has been doing it since she was a kid. “It’s so peaceful and mysterious to me”.
