Matt Reynolds is the 4th horn of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, after winning the audition in September of 2019. He is currently finishing his DMA degree at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas and his Master’s degree from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. He has played with several orchestras such as the Waco Symphony, Wichita Symphony, Downey Symphony.

What would you be doing if you weren’t a professional musician?  I enjoyed zoology very much growing up and throughout my life, so I think I would work at a zoo.

Do you have a side job?  I enjoy teaching private lessons.

What do you like most about being a professional musician?  I love the performing aspect of music. Being able to create or interpret something for other people and share that personal experience with them is amazing.
