Oklahoma City – Known as the “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll”, Tina Turner’s powerful voice and exceptional career gave us songs that became part of the soundtrack of our lives. In a sensational musical celebration, the Oklahoma City Philharmonic presents The Music of Tina Turner, a symphonic tribute to Tina Turner. This event will feature conductor David Andrews Rogers, vocalists LaKisha Jones, Nova Payton, and Armando Imagines.

“Growing up in Germany, I remember Tina Turner as a huge American star – her voice, her energy, and her presence were absolutely iconic,” said Music Director Alexander Mickelthwate. “Her music transcends generations and continues to inspire audiences around the world. I’m thrilled to bring her electrifying songs to life with the orchestra in a way that celebrates her incredible legacy.”
