“Oklahoma City Philharmonic’s Red, White & BOOM! Returns to Scissortail Park July 3″

Oklahoma City – The Oklahoma City Philharmonic invites the community to one of the metro’s most beloved Independence Day traditions: Red, White & BOOM!, returning to Scissortail Park on Wednesday, July 3 at 8:30 p.m. This free, family-friendly concert offers an evening filled with uplifting patriotic music, community celebration, and a spectacular fireworks finale.

“The atmosphere for Red, White & BOOM! is electrifying,” said Alexander Mickelthwate, Music Director of the OKCPHIL. “The patriotic music, the cheering crowd, the fireworks—last year, the park and surrounding areas were filled with guests who joined us. We’re thrilled to share the joy of music and the spirit of Independence Day again this year.”

Admission is free, and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, water, and picnic essentials for an enjoyable night under the stars. Merchandise will be available for purchase, including OKCPHIL t-shirts, tote bags, and the newly released CD, Of Thee I Sing.

This event is made possible through the generous support of our sponsors: Scissortail Park and Omni Hotels.

“While our upcoming concert season promises an exciting lineup,” added Mickelthwate, “Red, White & BOOM! is truly special. It’s an evening where we celebrate our nation’s heritage together—as neighbors, friends, and families. We feel the love from Oklahoma City, and we give it right back.”

Join us July 3 for a night of music, memories, and celebration at Scissortail Park.
