We’ve Got Rhythm

For Elementary Grades & Beginning Band/Orchestra

This popular in-school program brings a professional OKCPHIL ensemble directly to your classroom. Each 50-minute performance is interactive, curriculum-aligned, and tailored to your students’ needs.

  • Engaging for Grades 2–6 or beginning band/orchestra students
  • Small ensembles (strings, woodwinds, brass, and mixed)
  • Flexible scheduling and presentation styles
  • Available across the Greater OKC Metro

Rhythm on the Road

Statewide Outreach for Grades 2–6 (adaptable for K–12)

Live music. Zero travel. 100% unforgettable.

This mobile music program sends a violin and bass duet of OKCPHIL professionals to schools across all 77 Oklahoma counties for engaging 50-minute assemblies exploring rhythm, storytelling, and sound.

Ideal for schools beyond the metro—or for districts wanting to add a powerful music moment to the school year!

Youth Concerts at the Civic Center

For Grades 2–6 + Beginning Band/Orchestra

There’s nothing like seeing a full symphony perform live! Join us for a 50-minute, student-friendly concert led by our associate conductor, designed to inspire a lifelong love of music.

  • Fall: November 10 & 11, 2025
  • Spring: March 30 & 31, 2026

Performances at 10:00 AM & 11:40 AM each day

Teacher guides with activities, composer bios, and concert etiquette tips included.

Spotlight School Program

For All Levels of Music Education

Each season, we shine the spotlight on schools with outstanding music programs. As an OKCPHIL Spotlight School, your students can:

  • Perform in the Civic Center lobby before a Classics concert
  • Receive free and discounted tickets
  • Enjoy a school visit from Maestro Alexander Mickelthwate
  • Take a backstage tour and Q&A with OKCPHIL musicians
  • Get featured in printed and digital program materials
