Dr. Gregory Lee is currently Associate Professor of Violin at the University of Oklahoma and Concertmaster of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. He also performs regularly with the Brightmusic Chamber Ensemble in Oklahoma City.  The Australian-born violinist holds degrees from the Queensland Conservatorium, Juilliard School and University of Michigan. Lee has given recitals/masterclasses around the US and Asian countries. During the summer, he teaches at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival and OU Summer Music Academy. He judged numerous competitions such as the Vietnam International Music Competition for Violin and Chamber Music.

What would you like the OKCPHIL patrons to know about you? I love performing for our audience for our warm and supportive audience. I also enjoy collaborating with the world class soloists who perform with our orchestra.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? Wedding Videography or sleight-of-hand card magic, when I have the time.
